Academic Achievements
- Principal investigator/sub-project leader for over 10 national and provincial-level research projects (including 2 National Key R&D Programs, 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, etc.). Published numerous papers in top international journals and conferences such as IEEE TKDE, IEEE TMC, UbiComp, NeurIPS, AAAI. Cited more than 5000 times on Google Scholar (H-index 37), listed among the world's top 2% scientists. Won the only Best Paper Award of DKE 2015, consecutively won the Best Paper Awards of HHME 2015 and 2014. Obtained over 70 authorized invention patents. Participated in the formulation of 4 national standards for unstructured data management. Won the First Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress in 2021 and 2019.
Research Experience
- Visited the Network Media Group at Microsoft Research Asia from July to October 2003; Conducted postdoctoral research at the Mixed Reality Lab, University of Nottingham, UK from January 2006 to July 2007 (Supervisor: Prof. Steve Benford). Currently, Director of the Pervasive Computing Laboratory, Deputy Dean of Hongcheng Smart City Large Software Research Institute, Core Member of Alibaba-Zhejiang University Joint Research Center for Frontier Technologies, Core Member of OPPO-Zhejiang University Joint Innovation Center, and Core Member of the China Engineering Technology Data and Knowledge Technology Research Center.

- Received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Department of Computer Science, Zhejiang University in June 1999; Received a Ph.D. in Engineering from the College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University in March 2004 (Supervisor: Prof. Chun Chen, Prof. Gencai Chen).
