Interned at Google LLC in the Core ML team and the ASML team during the summers of 2021 and 2022, working on quantization both times.
Education
Obtained an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (specialization in Economics) from the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and a Master's in Computational Finance from University College London. During that time, he was a scholarship holder of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Currently, he is a 5th year PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth Joshi.
Background
Research interests focus on the quantization of deep neural networks and brain-inspired computing, particularly on enhancing the energy-efficiency of training and deploying neural network (NN) models using hardware-aware quantization as well as neuroscience-inspired algorithms (e.g., spiking neural networks).
