Academic Achievements
- Publications: Over 230 papers published in international journals and presented in leading international conferences. Awards: Best paper awards at HPSR 2006 and IEEE GLOBECOM 2009. Patents: Holds three patents. - Worked at SSB, a SME in Torino, on office automation projects (1988-1991); joined the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications as a Ph.D. student (1991-1994); visiting scholar at HP Labs in Palo Alto, CA, researching on TCP protocol performance over ATM networks (1993); Assistant Professor with the Department of Production Systems and Business Economics at Politecnico di Torino (1995); with the Department of Electronics of Politecnico di Torino as a member of the Telecommunication Network group, first as Assistant Professor, later as Associate and then as Full Professor (since November 1995); visited the Electrical Department of Stanford University (July-August 1998).
