December 2016: Published 'Engineering Human Microbiota: Influencing Cellular and Community Dynamics for Therapeutic Applications' with co-authors.
August 2016: Awarded several travel fellowships, notably the Lee Smith Travel Fellowship to Asia.
August 2015: Successfully defended PhD thesis along with two other EESI members and secured good positions.
Research Experience
Involved in multiple research projects, including but not limited to education outreach in genomics, computation, and bioinformatics.
Background
A member of the Ecological and Evolutionary Signal-processing and Informatics (EESI) Laboratory, focusing on deciphering the organism community structure of environmental samples, analyzing functional expression versus capacity, and investigating the dynamics of communities across time, space, and other environmental gradients.
Miscellany
Participated in various conferences and symposiums organized by the lab, such as the Penn Chop Microbiome Symposium.
