Research Experience
Prior to joining the University of Louisville, worked as a Research Fellow in the Pediatric Cardiac Bioengineering Lab at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital; at Georgia Tech, worked on Robotic Guidewires and Neuro-endoscopes.
Education
Graduated with a Ph.D. from the Medical Robotics and Automation Laboratory at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Summer 2021, advisor unknown; was a Research Fellow in Cardiac Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, working with Dr. Pierre Dupont.
Background
Research interests include the design, modeling, and control of surgical robots, especially miniature continuum (flexible) robotic tools. Currently an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville, leading the HEAlthcare Robotics and Telesurgery (HEART) Laboratory.
