Education
She obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2014. The topic of her Ph.D. thesis was 'Trust and Privacy in Social Participatory Sensing'.
Background
Dr. Haleh Amintoosi is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and the head of E-Learning Center at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. She is also a visiting academic fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman (since Feb 2025), and a senior member of FUM CERT lab. Dr. Amintoosi is also the co-founder of the FUM Blockchain Research lab. Her main research interest focuses on computer networks and cybersecurity, particularly at the intersection of networking and security.
