- Currently a PI of the Neural Computing and Control Laboratory (NCC lab) and a doctoral supervisor.
Education
- Joined Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in September 2019 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Prior to SUSTech, she obtained her PhD from ETH Zurich and received postdoctoral training at Caltech.
Background
- Research interests include the interactions among neuroscience, machine learning, and control theory, such as multi-modal neural signal processing (EEG, sEEG, fMRI, DTI), AI for neuroscience (explainable AI to interpret the structure and function of the brain), and optimization for neuromodulation (tES, TMS, electrical stimulation).
