Published multiple papers such as 'Defects4C: Benchmarking Large Language Model Repair Capability with C/C++ Bugs' and 'Do Code Semantics Help? A Comprehensive Study on Execution Trace-Based Information for Code Large Language Models,' and received the Best Paper Award at ICSE 2025.

Before joining Tianjin University as an Associate Professor, he was a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo. His current research focuses on trustworthy artificial intelligence, software security, and intelligent software engineering.

Received a Ph.D. from the University of Luxembourg, advised by Prof. Yves Le Traon, Prof. Mike Papadakis, and Prof. Maxime Cordy; received a Master's degree from Kyushu University, advised by Prof. Jianjun Zhao; was a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo, working with Prof. Lei Ma.
