Research Experience
  • Currently working on financial technologies (fintech) to support marginalized communities, including individuals with bipolar disorder and dementia. Developing human-centered AI systems for training mental health workers, improving dementia care, supporting palliative care, and generating personalized health interventions.

  • Associate professor in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at Penn State. Leads the Wellbeing & Health Innovation (WHI) lab. Research interests include digital health, human-computer interaction (HCI), and data science. Goal is to improve health equity and access for all.
