Research Experience
Currently working on financial technologies (fintech) to support marginalized communities, including individuals with bipolar disorder and dementia. Developing human-centered AI systems for training mental health workers, improving dementia care, supporting palliative care, and generating personalized health interventions.
Background
Associate professor in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at Penn State. Leads the Wellbeing & Health Innovation (WHI) lab. Research interests include digital health, human-computer interaction (HCI), and data science. Goal is to improve health equity and access for all.
