Worked in the Statistical Engineering Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); during his Ph.D., interned at Microsoft Research New England and Toyota Research Institute.
Education
Completed a combined B.S./M.S. in Applied Math from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2018; then, completed a Ph.D. in statistics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he worked with Professor Matthias Katzfuss.
Background
Research interests include Bayesian optimization, uncertainty quantification, and approximate posterior inference. Works as an Applied Scientist at AWS on palm recognition for Amazon One.
