- Currently a Professor in the School of Cyber Engineering at Xidian University and a member of the Video & Image Processing System Lab. Serves as an Associate Editor for The Visual Computer and PC Members for several conferences.

- Received a Doctor of Philosophy degree (December 2017) in Intelligence Information Processing from Xidian University, supervised by Prof. Xinbo Gao; was a visiting graduate student at Duke University in the Biomedical Engineering Department from September 2016 to September 2017, supervised by Prof. Sina Farsiu (IEEE Fellow); received a Bachelor's Degree (July 2012) in Electronic Information Engineering from Xidian University.

- Research interests include machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning with applications to face forgery generation and detection, heterogeneous face synthesis and recognition, and dependable visual identity recognition.
