Research Experience
Before joining DFKI, he was a member of Jakob Runge's climate informatics research group at TU Berlin and DLR Jena. He is also a member of Algoright e.V.
Background
A mathematician leading the Causal Models and Representations (CaMoRe) research group at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). The group is part of the neuro-mechanistic modelling (NMM) research department. His research team focuses on building, evaluating, and improving causal models for scientific and industrial applications, using both data and expert knowledge.
