- Organizer of the AAAI Workshops on Scientific Document Understanding and Video Transcript Understanding; served as a program committee member for ACL Rolling Review, ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, Neural Computing, and Transactions on Information Systems journals.

- Received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oregon. Advised by Prof. Thien Huu Nguyen for his Ph.D. and Prof. Minh Le Nguyen for his Master's.
