Research Experience
Currently a Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTDb) at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Involved in various projects such as Research Project with ESA SURPRISE, POR-FESR IGNITE 5.0, PNRR Spoke 6 MOST, project with Alstom on V2X communications and distributed architectures, European FP7 Project PPDR-TC, Italian PRIN 2009 project SFINGI, and EU-FET project HATS.
Education
M.S. degree in Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Bologna, 2012; Ph.D. in ICT at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, 2016.
Background
Research interests include Linux-based TCP-IP algorithms, Vehicular Communications & IEEE 802.11p, GPS-based Cooperative Messages, AQM Queue Disciplines Algorithms, Packet Scheduling techniques for Wireless Networks, QoS in IP Networks, SDN techniques for performance optimization, and Deadlock Analysis.
