Academic Achievements
- Published multiple papers, including 'Pre-training Large Memory Language Models with Internal and External Knowledge' and 'Pre-trained Large Language Models Learn Hidden Markov Models In-context'. Recipient of the Amazon AI4Science Fellowship and the Ben P.C. Chou Doctoral Prize. Won the Best Student Paper Award at CVPR 2021.

- Graduated from Caltech in Computing and Mathematical Sciences, co-advised by Professor Pietro Perona and Professor Yisong Yue. Supported by the Kortschak Scholars Program at Caltech and the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
Background
- Research interests include computer vision and machine learning methods for complex scientific inquiries and workflows that require expert attention. The goal is to enable more effective collaboration between human experts and machine learning systems, to expand our understanding of the world around us.
