Academic Achievements
Recipient of the 2000 COPSS Presidents' Award, 2007 Morningside Gold Medal for Applied Mathematics, 2009 Guggenheim Fellow, 2013 Pao-Lu Hsu Prize, 2014 Guy Medal in Silver, 2018 Noether Distinguished Scholar, 2021 Le Cam Award and Lectures, and Wald Memorial Award and Lectures (the highest honor bestowed by IMS). Elected as an Academician from Academia Sinica in 2012 and the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium in 2023.
