Awards: Laura Green won the best poster award at ESBiomech2023 conference. Projects: Jointly developed an advanced nano-tech enabled hemostatic patch with Poulikakos Lab.

Research Projects: Investigating the biomechanics of embryonic, fetal, and adult hearts using clinical images and animal models; developing image-based computational simulation tools, including blood fluid dynamics simulations and myocardial finite element simulations; developing novel materials and devices to modulate thrombosis in medical devices.
