Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • Main research contributions include: Collection, annotations, and processing of spontaneous speech corpora (e.g., job interviews, human-robot interactions); development of data/label efficient socio-emotional models (reasoning models, hybrid approaches, data augmentation, and meta-learning); enhancing explainability and interpretability of socio-emotional models. Her research has been supported by prestigious projects such as the H2020 ITN ANIMATAS project and the French National Project (ANR) - SINNet.
Research Experience
  • Formerly a Professor of Affective Computing at LTCI, Telecom-Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, where she coordinated the Social Computing team. Currently a Senior Researcher (Directrice de recherche) in the ALMAnaCH team at INRIA Paris.
Background
  • Research interests: Affective Computing and Artificial Intelligence, at the intersection of speech and natural language processing, machine learning, and social robotics. Focuses on computational models of socio-emotional behaviors such as sentiment, social stance, engagement, and trust in both human-human (e.g., conversations in social networks or face-to-face settings) and human-agent (e.g., conversational agents, social robots) interactions. Motivated by application areas like health and education, aiming to empower people and improve their quality of life.
