Research Experience
During her PhD, she has worked on various research projects including understanding and mitigating copying in diffusion models, creating a long-video understanding dataset - CinePile, among others. Before starting her PhD, she had 8 years of industry experience in product and engineering roles.
Education
Currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Tom Goldstein. Received bachelor's degree from IIT Madras.
Background
Research interests: The intersection of Machine Learning (ML) and Computer Vision, aiming to build robust generalist models. Known as 'that memorization girl' for writing multiple papers on memorization in diffusion models. Recently started working on video LLMs and created a long-video understanding benchmark - CinePile.
