Involved in several research projects such as GENIUS (Generative AI for supporting competency building in scientific argumentation), KISS-Pro (Professionalization concepts and usage perspectives of AI-based feedback systems and writing agents for language learning in schools), and DARIUS (Digital Argumentation Instruction for Science).
Published multiple academic papers, including studies on judgment accuracy in primary school EFL writing assessment, comparing different machine-learning approaches for automated assessment of text quality traits among L1- and L2-learners’ argumentative essays, etc.
