Research Experience
Worked at R&D Department of Motorola Penang Sdn. Bhd for 2.5 years; joined Bell Labs in 1991, stayed there for 12 years working on designing future wireless internet systems; joined Lehigh in Jan 2004 and heads up the WiNS Laboratory.
Education
Bachelor's degree: Electrical Engineering from University of Malaya; PhD: UCSD under Prof Rene L. Cruz, focusing on modeling and analysis of dynamic routing schemes via a fluid-based non-traditional approach.
Background
Research interests include building robust mobile data systems, assistive technologies, and future internet systems. Teaches courses in operating systems, networking, and network security, also serves as the instructor for both Computer Science and Computer Engineering senior design courses.
