Over 50 patents applied (including 3 international PCT patents); published 3 textbooks, namely 'Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment (2nd Edition)', 'BlewBluePill: Deep Understanding of Hardware Virtualization', and 'Advanced UNIX Environment Programming (3rd Edition)'; over 100 papers published in international conferences and journals such as TC, TPDS, TDSC, ToN, TACO, TCC, TSC, S&P, HPCA, USENIX ATC, HPDC, ICSM; led or participated in several national and local research projects, winning the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Education (2012), Second Prize for National Science and Technology Progress (2014), First Prize for Technical Invention from the Ministry of Education (2018), and First Prize for Technical Invention from Shanghai (2019).

Research interests include virtualization technology, program analysis, green computing, mobile internet, cloud computing and big data. The goal is to build large-scale computer system infrastructures that are highly efficient, trustworthy, and performant.
Miscellany
The lab has established good cooperation with Huawei, Microsoft, Enflame, Intel, IBM, Alibaba Cloud, ZTE Nanjing, Morgan Stanley, Shengli Oilfield, etc.; frequently sends students on project-based research internships; conducts academic exchanges and personnel visits with CMU, McGill, University of Lugano, HKUST, NUS, RMIT; graduates have founded four companies, among which AEVIOU Chinese Text Input won the Grand Prize at the 2011 'Challenge Cup' National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, and C-Decompiler won the championship at the 2nd International Innovation Competition by the Institute of Computing Technology, CAS.
