Before joining the University of Alabama, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi and a Postdoc at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Education
She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in December 2015. Her thesis was titled 'Real System Features and Implications in Underwater Acoustic Networks'.
Background
Her current research areas include cybersecurity, network security, wireless and underwater networking, sustainable IoT, terrestrial/underwater edge computing, and deep learning-enabled wireless networking.
