Academic Achievements
- Published several highly influential papers in top conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, including InternImage, UniAD, BEVFormer, Deformable DETR, VL-BERT, Deformable ConvNets, and R-FCN. UniAD won the Best Paper Award at CVPR 2023. He also serves as an Associate Editor of TPAMI, Editorial Board Member of IJCV, and Area Chair for multiple international conferences.
Research Experience
- Served as an Executive Research Director at SenseTime Research, led by Professor Xiaogang Wang, from 2019 to 2022; and as a Principal Research Manager in the Visual Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), headed by Dr. Jian Sun and Dr. Baining Guo, from 2014 to 2019. During his Ph.D. study, he visited the VCLA lab of UCLA between 2012 and 2013, working with Professor Song-Chun Zhu and Professor Ying-Nian Wu.

- Received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University in 2014, under the supervision of Professor Jie Zhou; and his B.S. degree from the same department in 2009, with a GPA ranking 2/160+.
