Published multiple papers in the fields of formal methods, automated reasoning, and machine learning, such as 'InvAASTCluster: On Applying Invariant-Based Program Clustering to Introductory Programming Assignments', 'Minimizing the weighted number of tardy jobs: data-driven heuristic for single-machine scheduling', etc., and presented at several international conferences. The paper 'Solving Hard Mizar Problems with Instantiation and Strategy Invention' won the Best Paper Award at CICM 2024.
Research Experience
Head of the Formal Methods Research Group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC); contributed to the development of the SMT cvc5 solver.
Background
Focused on the development of Formal Methods and Automated Reasoning, including SW verification, SAT, MaxSAT, or SMT solvers. Recently, applying machine learning to improve SAT based solvers, particularly SMT (satisfiability modulo theories). Head of the Formal Methods Research Group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC).
