Research Experience
Joined the Laboratory for Systems, Control and Optimization at the University of Freiburg as a research and teaching assistant. Involved in organizing and teaching several semester courses, including systems theory and control, numerical optimization, numerical optimal control, and model predictive control and reinforcement learning.
Education
Received a B.Sc. in Microsystems Engineering from the University of Freiburg, Germany, in 2016 and an M.Sc. in Mathematical Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium, in 2018. Since March 2020, he has been pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Moritz Diehl, and since January 2022 as an associated fellow of the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie project ELO-X.
Background
Research interests include uncertainty-aware model predictive control, robust, stochastic and dual methods, efficient formulations and algorithms, sequential convex programming and generalized Gauss-Newton methods.
