Received a Google Fellowship to support his Ph.D. studies.
Research Experience
Currently a staff research scientist at DeepMind, working closely with Andrew Zisserman. During his Ph.D., he conducted research on computer vision at CMU.
Education
Graduated from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 2010 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, minoring in Neural Computation; completed his Ph.D. at the Machine Learning Department of CMU, advised by Alyosha Efros and Abhinav Gupta.
Background
Interested in computer vision, self-supervised learning, motion understanding, and robotics applications. Aims to learn better representations from large-scale real-world and synthetic data, particularly through point tracking in videos for 3D and physics understanding.
