Recipient of the 2017 Shenzhen Reserve Talents Award and the 2018 Shenzhen Nanshan District Pilot Talent Award. Multiple papers have been accepted by TIM'25, TOMM'25, MM'25, ICCV'25, TETCI'25, PR'25, AAAI'25, TVCG, NeurIPS'24, T-IFS'24, ECCV'24. Achieved second place in the Automatic Recognition of Micro Expressions challenge organized by CCAC'2024 and sixth place in the Black-box Adversarial Attacks on Vision Foundation Models challenge organized by CVPR'2024.
Research Experience
Currently heads the Facial Expression Analysis research group at Shenzhen University. Served as a Visiting Scholar at the School of Computer Science, The University of Nottingham, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Vision group with Prof. Linlin Shen at Shenzhen University.

Received B.E. in Statistics from Central China Normal University in June 2008; Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Wuhan University in June 2013. Before joining Shenzhen University, he was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Computer Science, The University of Nottingham, UK, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Vision group with Prof. Linlin Shen at Shenzhen University.
