Academic Achievements
Mainly involved in the PyPy project and related projects: RPython and its JIT, PyPy, Pydrofoil, Pyrolog, Pycket, RSQueak. Publications can be found on his Google Scholar page.
Research Experience
Worked with Laurence Tratt as a member of the Software Development Team at King's College London from 2013-2016. Previously, worked with Robert Hirschfeld at Hasso-Plattner-Institute Potsdam and with Michael Leuschel at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.
Education
Received a PhD from HHU Düsseldorf in 2013.
Background
Research interests include techniques for the efficient implementation of dynamic programming languages, tracing JITs, optimizations, and partial evaluation (especially at runtime). Currently teaching half-time at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. A Fellow of the Python Software Foundation.
