Resume (English only)
Research Experience
  • I am a senior research scientist at the Center for Human and Machines of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. Previously, I worked as a researcher at CREED, the Center for Research in Experimental Economics and political Decision making of the University of Amsterdam, at the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences of Leiden University, and at the Department of Economics of the University of Verona.
Background
  • My research interests are in the field of experimental and behavioral economics with a focus on the interaction between humans and A.I. I am currently working on the impact of AI-mediated communication when human interactions are mediated by algorithms, on the use of Large Language Models to steer consumer preferences, and on the role of AI in the construction of (willful) ignorance. Other research interests of mine cover rule violation and corruption, the interplay between trust and motivated reasoning, and honesty and ethical behavior. My interests also span to experimental methods and econometric analysis of experimental data.
