Multiple papers have been accepted by journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, and ICLR. Specific publications include: LoFi (IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, 2025), GLIMPSE (IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 2025), FunkNN: Neural Interpolation for Functional Generation (ICLR 2023), Deep Injective Prior for Inverse Scattering (IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2023), Conditional Injective Flows for Bayesian Imaging (IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, 2023).
Research Experience
Processes imaging data collected at the Swiss Light Source (SLS) and collaborates with the Swiss Data Science Center (SDSC) on the CHIP project, MaCHIne-Learning-assisted Ptychographic nanotomography.
Education
Obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Basel, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Ivan Dokmanić. During his PhD, he was awarded a prestigious grant to spend nine months as a visiting researcher at University College London (UCL), where he worked with Prof. Jason McEwen on cosmological imaging problems.
Background
Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational X-ray Imaging group at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) and EPFL, working with Prof. Manuel Guizar Sicairos. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning and computational imaging, focusing on diffractive imaging and tomography for 3D reconstruction using deep learning.
