Research Experience
- Currently a professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Korea University, leading the DMIS Lab. The lab focuses on using AI and machine learning to solve problems in bioinformatics, drug discovery, and biomedical text mining.
Background
- Research interests include bioinformatics, drug discovery, and biomedical text mining. Also conducts research in natural language processing (NLP) and graph machine learning (Graph ML).

- The DMIS Lab also participates in various international challenges, such as DREAM Challenges and BioASQ Challenges, to contribute to addressing unmet needs in the field of biomedicine.
