Published an invited paper at RP 2025; Had a paper accepted at ICALP 2025; Released several new preprints on MDP strategies and the impact of payoff set structure on randomized strategies in multi-objective MDPs.
Research Experience
Supervised PhD student James Campbell Alexander Main to graduation; Published an invited paper at RP 2025 titled 'Simplicity Lies in the Eye of the Beholder: A Strategic Perspective on Controllers in Reactive Synthesis'; Had a new paper accepted at ICALP 2025 titled 'Taming Infinity one Chunk at a Time: Concisely Represented Strategies in One-Counter MDPs'; Participated in several preprints on MDP strategies and multi-objective MDPs.
Background
I am an FNRS Senior Research Associate and Professor in the Mathematics Department and Complexys Institute in UMONS – Université de Mons, Belgium. I am currently the head of the Mathematics Department. My work is at the crossroad between computer science and mathematics: my research interests are mainly focused on game theory, artificial intelligence, formal verification, and efficient and reliable controller synthesis for reactive systems.
