Background
Interested in developing robust, efficient, generalizable, and interpretable machine learning (ML) algorithms, often by learning representations that carry such properties in a deep learning (DL) context. Works in a wide range of applications, such as computer vision (CV) and natural language processing (NLP), with particular interest in interdisciplinary applications, like ML for climate monitoring and earth observation, health, and science.
