Serves as an associate professor at the University of Florida, also affiliated with the Center for Coastal Solutions.
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2016; B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010.
Background
Research interests include data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on spatiotemporal data mining for interdisciplinary applications in Earth sciences (e.g., floods, storm surges), agriculture, transportation, health, and medicine. Currently an associate professor in the Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering at the University of Florida.
