Published numerous papers in areas such as high-dimensional statistics, random constraint satisfaction problems, statistical inference on random graphs, and spin glass theory. Some of these papers have been published or are to be published in prestigious conferences (e.g., STOC, COLT) and journals (e.g., Annals of Statistics, Communications in Mathematical Physics).
Research Experience
Previously a postdoctoral researcher in the Mathematics Department at MIT, working with Elchanan Mossel and Nike Sun as part of the NSF/Simons program 'Collaborations on Theoretical Foundations of Deep Learning'.
Education
PhD in Statistics from Stanford University, advised by Amir Dembo; BSc from Seoul National University.
Background
Research interests include high-dimensional statistics, random constraint satisfaction problems, statistical inference on random graphs, and spin glass theory. Currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University.
