Secured over $7.1 million in external research grants since 2020, with 5 as lead investigator. Authored over 140 scholarly articles, including publications in high-impact journals such as Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, and IEEE Transactions on Services Computing. Recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Research Excellence Award 2023 in the category of Research Excellence through Partnership.
Research Experience
Has held appointments at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Deakin University (Australia), and Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). Currently serves as the Leader of the Imaging and Sensing Research Group at Charles Sturt University and is affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Futures Institute and the Gulbali Institute for Agriculture, Water and Environment.
