  • - 'Quantum Algorithms for Graph Coloring and other Partitioning, Covering, and Packing Problems' co-authored with Jerry Zirui Li.
Research Experience
  • Professor at UNSW Sydney, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering, School of Computer Science and Engineering, head of the Algorithms group, member of the Algorithmic Decision Theory group, and part of the UNSW AI Institute. Serves on the editorial board of Acta Informatica. Co-chair of SOFSEM 2024 in Cochem, Germany, with Henning Fernau and Ralf Klasing.
Background
  • Research interests: Study of intractable computational problems; designing new algorithms and analyzing their running time; making fine-grained complexity classifications. Interested in deterministic, randomized, and quantum algorithms. Mainly focused on Boolean satisfiability and constraint satisfaction, networks and graphs, and algorithmic decision theory.
