Lecturer at the Artificial Intelligence and its Applications Institute, School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, leading the Edinburgh Ventures for Intelligence and Economics. Also a Fellow of Edinburgh's Generative AI Laboratory, and an Affiliate of the Institute for Adaptive and Neural Computation, Edinburgh Future Institute, and the Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovations. Research interests include trustworthy AI, deep learning theory, decentralized learning, privacy and fairness in machine learning, symmetry in machine learning, algorithmic game theory, and their applications in economics and finance.
