Mainly working on the ERC-project 'High-Definition Tomography'.
Research Experience
After 2007, moved to Austria and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Scientific Computing, Karl-Franzens University of Graz, on the SFB project 'Mathematical Optimization and Applications in Biomedical Sciences' with Prof. Michael Hintermüller. In 2010, obtained a scientific researcher position at the Institute of Biomathematics and Biometry, Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen, which is the German research center for environmental health.
Education
Received a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Peking University in 2007, supervised by Prof. Shufang Xu (Peking University) and Prof. Raymond Honfu Chan (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, joint Ph.D. program).
Background
Research interests include mathematical imaging, inverse problems and variational methods, matrix applications and computations, and optimization methods. Currently an associate professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technical University of Denmark.
