Academic Achievements
June 30, 2024: Participated as an organizer in Task 6 of the DCASE2024 challenge!
April 3, 2024: Successfully defended his PhD thesis on automated audio captioning.
December 6, 2023: Created a simple interface to test their recent model CoNeTTE.
November 9, 2023: Published the source code to test the CoNeTTE audio captioning system, available on GitHub and as a Pip package.
September 6, 2023: Submitted a paper to the ICASSP2024 conference, entitled “Multilingual Audio Captioning using machine translated data”!
Research Experience
Currently working on the TIRIS-SILENCE project, which aims to study and extract information from audio files recorded in extreme environments such as Mars.

Background
Research Interests: Artificial intelligence applied to audio analysis and natural language processing. His doctoral dissertation focused on Automated Audio Captioning, a multimodal task aimed at developing systems capable of generating natural language sentences to describe audio files.
