Research Experience
Summer 2024 internship at Honda Research Institute focusing on data-efficient instruction tuning for multimodal LLMs (Mentor: Shao-Yuan Lo)
Education
PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Advisor: Prof. Vishal M. Patel (2021-Present)
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Communication Systems, Sharif University of Technology (2016-2021)
Background
Research interests include computer vision and natural language processing, with a specific focus on multimodal LLMs (reasoning, instruction tuning, hallucination), continual/active learning, large-scale data pruning, efficient training (prompting, token pruning, MoE), and out-of-distribution robustness.
