Participated in the project 'Advancing a Novel Programming Language for Computer Science Education'.
Research Experience
Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zürich.
Education
Defended his doctoral thesis in November 2024 under the supervision of Professor Zhendong Su at the Department of Computer Science, ETH Zürich. His work is supported by the SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation) grant 'Advancing a Novel Programming Language for Computer Science Education'.
Background
Research Interests: Innovative approaches for teaching computer science, particularly how programming languages that implement visual semantics can benefit beginners. Much of the research is on the visual language Algot, which uses live programming and programming by demonstration to make it easier to understand and manipulate the program state.
