Published several journal articles covering topics such as assessing concrete performance through image processing, noise resilient segmentation of oil spills, nondestructive evaluation of hybrid concrete properties, creating a large-scale 4K benchmark dataset for drone detection, deep learning-based coarse aggregate segmentation, exploring HDR multimedia as an affective agent for human emotional experience, computing characteristics of defects in wooden structures, classifying defects in wooden structures, predicting characteristics of cracks in concrete structures, etc.
Research Experience
Doctoral work focused on HDR Video Compression and Distribution; Master's work involved the Compression of Medical Images using Fractal Technique; Bachelor's project was about Identification of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) using Spectral Domain Analysis of ECG.
