Successfully defended her Ph.D. from NUS School of Computing.
Research Experience
During her Ph.D., she worked on various research projects, including fine-grained classification, fairness, and developing context-aware models robust to distribution shifts. She also has experience working with time-series sensor data from EEG, EOG, and IMU from previous projects.
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, co-advised by Prof Desmond Ong and Prof Ooi Wei Tsang; Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.
Background
Her research interests include developing context-aware deep-learning models using approaches such as knowledge fusion and self-supervised learning. She is interested in fine-grained classification, fairness, and building models robust to distribution shifts. Additionally, she is passionate about Affective Computing, focusing on emotion detection from natural language data and face images.
Miscellany
Her personal motto is: In a world where you can be anything, let's be kind!
