Research Experience
From August 2018 to 2021, worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Center for Imaging Science at Johns Hopkins University, and in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, collaborating with Professors Carey E. Priebe and Joshua T. Vogelstein at JHU, and with Professor Vince Lyzinski at UMD.
Education
Completed a PhD in Statistics at the University of Michigan in 2018, advised by Professor Liza Levina; received a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).
Background
Research interests include statistical network analysis, machine learning, high-dimensional data analysis, and applications to neuroimaging.
