- Received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from South China University of Technology (SCUT) in June 2008; then obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where he worked with Prof. Qian Zhang in the Huawei-HKUST Innovation Lab.
