Education
Received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from South China University of Technology (SCUT) in June 2008; then obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where he worked with Prof. Qian Zhang in the Huawei-HKUST Innovation Lab.
Background
Currently a senior researcher at Noah's Ark Lab, Huawei. His research mainly focuses on improving the complex reasoning capability of LLMs, with particular interests in efficient post-training of foundation models, data synthesis, and advanced reasoning techniques for LLMs. He also has extensive experience in Bayesian optimization and reinforcement learning.
