Worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Canterbury, New Zealand, from 2001 to 2003; Was a post-doctoral fellow at the ESAT-STADIUS division, KU Leuven, from 2003 to 2005; Appointed as a faculty member initially at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, and since 2013 at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, KU Leuven.
Education
Received an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Ghent University in 1994; Obtained an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Ghent University in 1998; Earned a PhD in Engineering from the same institution in 2001, with a thesis titled 'EEG Dipole Source Analysis in a Realistic Head Model'.
