Currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University; Previously, a research assistant professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC).
Education
PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University, graduated in 2019, advised by Elad Hazan; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Duke University as a Benjamin N. Duke Scholar.
Background
Research interests lie at the intersection of optimization and machine learning, both in theory and practice. Specifically, worked on improving matrix estimation techniques for faster higher-order methods for convex and non-convex optimization, in both sequential and distributed settings.
