Works have received best-paper awards at NSDI'24, NSDI'21, SOSP'21, VALUETOOLS'24, and SYSTOR'16; deployed in production at Google, VMware, Twitter, Redpanda, Momento with many open-source libraries contributed by the community; 2020 Meta Fellow, 2023 Google Cloud Research Innovator, 2023 Rising Star in Machine Learning and Systems; recipient of the ACM SIGOPS Dennis M. Ritchie Doctoral Dissertation Award.

Serves as an Assistant Professor at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, performing in-depth measurement and analysis to understand real-world systems and algorithms, and designing and building the next generation of storage systems and distributed machine learning systems.
